January 18, 2018: New Cloud Cult Music Now Available The original award winning soundtrack to the feature film The Great Alone, composed by Craig Minowa and performed by Cloud Cult. Saturday doors at 7pm (come early to see our Live Like You Mean It exhibit) Cloud Cult on at 8pm. Cloud Cult is an experimental indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota led by singer/songwriter Craig Minowa. Formed in 1995, the name originated from the ancient prophecies of indigenous North Americans Connie and Craig Minowa of Cloud Cult were called to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The. ALS cause is something Cloud. Cult has supported for years. Cloud Cult released a new album entitled Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes) on April 8, 2008. The album was recorded and produced at Minowa's small organic farm in Northern Minnesota. The place is so far out in the boonies, you can barely find it, because it's not on the maps, said Dan Montalto, an MTV Producer who brought a camera crew to the farm to film a short MTV feature on the band. Cloud Cult stops by The Current and performs a track off their latest, The Meaning of 8. .
