Info: Following the events of How To Train Your Dragon, the Vikings of Berk and their former enemies, the dragons, are living together in peace, but this co-existence is not as harmonious as one may think. The dragons, being the wild beasts they yet remain, unintentionally stir up trouble time and again, leading to the more grouchy types among the Vikings to take exception to their presence. And on every such occasion, it falls upon Hiccup and his friends to work on a solution for the problems. Season 1 of the Cartoon Network series is called Dragons: Riders of Berk, and Season 2 is called Dragons: Defenders of Berk. The series finale aired on March 5, 2014 on Cartoon Network, with the episode Cast Out, Part 2. A DVD collection of the first four episodes, titled Dragons: Riders of Berk, was released on November 20, 2012. The first season of the series was released on DVD in two parts on July 23, 2013. Dragons: Riders of Berk: Part 1 contained episodes from 1 to 11, and Dragons: Riders of Berk: Part 2, episodes from 12 to 20. After Hiccup and his Night Fury companion, Toothless, saved the people of Berk by defeating the Red Death, they inspired the Vikings of Berk to make peace with the dragons. Dragons: Riders of Berk is the first season of the American television series, DreamWorks Dragons, which follows the events of the How to Train Your Dragon feature film. and bridges said film with the second installment of the trilogy.
