During the sessions Costello convinced Paul to dig out his iconic Hofner bass for the first time in years — a suggestion McCartney recalls as, unusual because I had sort of parked it. This seems to be the only 2017 Japan Paul McCartney release that didn't come in a mini-lp format. Does anyone know why?
