Radiohead's ninth studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool, was released in May 2016 on Radiohead's website and online music stores, followed by retail versions in June via XL Recordings. It was promoted with music videos for the singles Burn the Witch and Daydreaming , the latter directed by Anderson. Damals noch unter dem Namen On a Friday auftretend, erfolgte 1989 bzw. 1992 die Umbenennung in Radiohead, nach einem Song der Band Talking Heads namens Radio Head.
